It is nearly impossible for organizations to grow without the necessary capital to achieve success....
Adventum’s client is a fast-casual restaurant concept that launched in South Florida in 2016, that invites guests to experience fresh ingredients and bold flavors in a warm, friendly environment. The growing restaurant chain has a build your own “bol” menu focused on clean ingredients and offers a selection of grains, vegetables, and meats, consisting of nutrient-rich selections for a healthy lifestyle. In addition, the chain features a variety of juices, teas, kombucha, cold brew, craft beers, and natural sodas.
Client Challenge
The restaurant business is extremely challenging, to say the least. The client quickly realized how detail-oriented restaurant creation was. Everything from the napkins to the color palette on the walls to cup sizes, portion control, pricing, and bathroom sink finishes. Creating a new restaurant concept is exciting but coming up with an economic model that maximizes return on investment with of course attaining best-in-class sales can be near impossible.
Adventum Solution
Adventum’s team worked closely with the founders to identify the right space within the fast-casual market. At Adventum we are ready to act as financial consultants and our specialists carry out a full assessment of investment projects, sensitive analysis, financial forecasting, audit of financial and economic models, development of the optimal structure of an investment model, and other services. We worked with our client on researching and developing the investment structure and economic model that has led to their unprecedented success across the fast-casual space.
Result
Adventum's solution led to a client that has scaled through bank debt and internal cash flow. As the client continues to expand, they pride themselves on maintaining a business in which all locations of the quick-serve restaurant are corporately owned, with any planned expansion slated to also follow a corporate-owned, rather than franchise, model.
