Adventum’s client is a fast-casual restaurant chain that specializes in fresh food fast. Known throughout for their fresh tenders, they also produce made-to-order salads, sandwiches, and hand-spun milkshakes. Through a combination of company-owned, joint-venture, and selective franchise development, the restaurant had seen tremendous growth over the past few years, growing to over 60 locations in 12 states. The company is committed to providing quality over fast growth, they attribute their success to having great people who believe in the brand and embrace the level of quality the company tries to achieve.  

Client Challenge

Everything about the client is designed to exceed the customer’s expectations, however, the client had a franchisee in Florida that was experiencing problems with the management, operations, and investment structure as it related to their stores. This franchisee was lacking the management and financial leadership to make the changes necessary to ultimately protect investors and develop successful locations.

To develop a successful location, Adventum analyzed the client’s past and present situations and worked with the CEO to change the leadership style at the stores, stabilize the existing stores and develop 4 new locations. We restructured the investment, communicated these changes to all the investors, and ultimately protected all investors from losing their investment. 

Result

The franchisee opened 7 stores that maintain some of the highest sales in the system and were ultimately purchased by the franchisor due to this success.
